& Garters is a family business, run by myself and my mum, Connie.
I started the business
after organising my own wedding and getting married to Lee in 2007.
After endless months of research, planning and trying to find suitable
premises, we discovered a fantastic bridal range giving us the opportunity to 'work
from home'. This sparked a new idea to us; to provide a unique service to
brides that gave them the whole bridal experience, but in the comfort of
their own home.
Having
been a bride myself not too long ago, I understand how daunting and
stressful being a bride can be, so we try to make choosing your gown as
stress-free as possible. We've kept our own personal experiences as
'bridal shoppers' in mind to ensure we offer you what we thought was
great service and to avoid what we thought wasn't so great, to hopefully
make your experience with us one to remember - for good reasons!!
Connie, who is also our seamstress boasts over 45 years
experience in sewing and alterations. Over the years, Connie has
created bridal, bridesmaid and christening gowns; so you can be assured
that your gown is in very safe hands.
We look forward to our time spent with you
whilst you choose your gown. We believe that every bride deserves the
very best service and all the time needed to choose the dress of their
dreams. So you can be assured you will receive 100% one to one attention
from us.
Our bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses can be customised to suit
your style and theme, whether it is a traditional church, civil service,
beach or 2nd time round wedding. We are very pleased to be the only mobile bridal retailer in the North West.
We have recently launched our Bridal Design Service. We often have brides who have something particular in mind and just can't find it... and also like different pieces from different dresses.. we can help you to put it all together and design your dream dress.
